We don't need authority.

The question being asked is -- "Why are you a church?" The assumed question behind the question is -- "Where do you get the authority to call yourselves a church?"

The answer is simple. We are Agnostics. We don't need authority. Certainly not from God. We also don't need Apostolic Succession. No. We are a church because we say that we are a church. The Godly don't get to define us. We define ourselves. It's that simple.
