The "proof"
- contradicts itself,
- commits the fallacy of composition/division, and
- ignores empirical fact.
Specifically:
- If energy can neither be created nor destroyed, then it cannot have a beginning (be created) nor be "used up" (have an end).
- The conservation of "mass and energy," (even as a matter of a priori logic) allows that even if the total amount of energy (or mass) were not infinite, the two combined might be (especially by the one being transformed into the other).
- The transformaton of mass and energy [E=mC2] is a demonstrated empirical fact.
